Day 6 - San Fransisco

Today is our final full day. We drove in from Carmel and spent the day doing as much sight-seeing as we possibly could. Chinatown, fisherman's warf, Pier 39, riding the cable car, Lombard Street and we watched the sunset over the Golden Gate bridge. It was a great day, but you could definately spend much more time here.

Day 5 - Carmel & Moneterey

Today we went on a whale watching boat tour. It was pretty fun. We went out about 3 to 4 miles and found hump back whales. We followed one around for a while. And yes, pictures of the whale were hard to get. I will upload one later that has been cropped so you aren't looking at so much water. The tour was about 3 hours long, and yes it did get very cold out on the water. We had to go get in the hot tub at the hotel to thaw us back out afterwards.

Day 4 - travel to Carmel

On the way to Carmel today we decided to go back through San Fran and stop and see the Golden Gate Bridge since it was such a pretty day. After enjoying the bridge and walking out on it we headed for Carmel. It is only about 2 hours away. Since it was about to be sunset we decided to take the 17 mile drive and enjoy the sunset over the views. Very Beautiful scenery on this road along with some very nice houses around the Pebble beach Golf Course.

Day 2 & 3-Napa Valley

Wow, what a beautiful place. And for those of you who are wondering, the grapes out here don't taste like regular grapes. They are so much better! Yes, I took it upon myself to taste them right off the vine. We decided to stay in our wonderful inn for 3 nights so that we would have another day in Napa. We even went to this really neat little restuarant on our last night in Napa called Bistro Jeanty. Check out the pictures

Honeymoon- San Fransisco

Day one - we arrived in San Fransisco on Monday about lunch time. Unfortunately the weather was not the best. The fog was incredible and it was cold! So, after getting frustrated from not being able to turn left ANYWHERE in downtown San Fransisco we eventually took off for Napa. As soon as we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge the weather began to clear up and made way for some spectacular views.

We ended up in Napa Valley in a wonderful Inn called Bel Abrie for the evening. The room was beautiful. Fireplace, nice soft sheets and down comforter, the works. I loved it. It was actually very nice to get to a place and be able to sit back and relax.

Wedding

The wedding turned out to be absolutely beautiful thanks to everyone who helped us. We had a great time and everything turned out to be more than I could have imagined. With the exception of a little extra wind, but who can control that. We had a great time anyway.
